Skincare is a big concern for me. I live in a dry climate (Denver) and know that the amount of time I spend outdoors is really hard on my skin. Drinking lots of water in addition to using sunscreen and a good moisturizer, are part of my daily routine.
When one of my sponsors, SkinCareRx.com sent me the Personal Microderm Tool to test out over a period of several weeks I was really excited. I’ve had professional microdermabrasion performed a number of times to reduce acne scarring on my chin, but it is quite expensive so it isn’t something I’ve been able to maintain long term.
I recorded my progress with the Home Microderm System. See how it works and catch a rare opportunity to see me without make-up or perfect lighting!!

Overall, I’m really happy with the results. Here are a few close-ups of my chin. I took the pictures in the same place each time but I wish I’d been more aware of differences in lighting at different times of day. I did not see a change in my skin color but if you look closely you can see less visible scaring on my chin.

Your chin is lovely! I might need to pick one of these babies up! I have a serious issue with a flaky forehead. 🙁

Wow! Looks great, Fiona! I wonder if it would minimize my chicken pox scars? Does it work on arms, too, or just the face? I have had a few years of bad breakouts on my upper arms, and it looks horrible now!
