Know what’s funny? I’m often introduced as “The Blogger”, Bantering Blonde. I have a blog, which you know since you are reading it, but seriously people, have you looked at the date of my last post? I would love to blog more; I like to write and share my ideas but work sorta gets in the way these days. You are likely to see more of me and learn more about how my mind works on FB or Twitter – there is no blog post to back it up or expand on my ideas. Do you think that blogging has become my “beard”??? I don’t really do it on purpose but it seems like most people understand “blogging” more than they do “social media gal”. It’s easier for people to see me and introduce me as a blogger than for me to explain and for them to understand the facets of social media and whether there is influence or blah blah blah. Everybody blogs nowadays….
I blog for business and I work on client blogs quite a bit but, for the most part, my personal brand is stuck in 2009. For CRYING OUT LOUD, people, have you seen my header??? What version of the iPhone is that? My freakin’ header was awesome at one time and now it has a dinosaur on it and the irony intended by my font choice is totally lost. I need help. I need a new header.
I don’t have time to create a new header.
*le sigh* off to tweet my woes…..

I won’t tell Fiona. I don’t have an iphone, so it still looks fabulous to me

Fiona – I laughed when reading this because it is how I feel. I’m never sure if I’m actually a “blogger blogger” because my personal blog tends to get ignored. My header is so out of date, I’m embarrassed. I also have to explain that I am a blogger professionally, people get that more than “Social Media.” I’m always asked, “does that mean you do stuff on Facebook?” You ARE a blogger and a damn good one along with all of your other social media skills.
